The Insurance Council Marine Committee together with IBANZ brings this Marine Issues Workshop to insurers, brokers, maritime legal and surveyors whom have an interest in some of the latest issues affecting the marine insurance industry. These issues cover new technology harmonizing with legacy laws of the sea, at close look at the Maritime New Zealand Operator Safety System “MOSS”, a significant cargo loss affecting the New Zealand market and how the new Zealand insurance contracts legislation will fit with the traditions of Marine insurance.
