The Insurance Council Marine Committee together with IBANZ brings this Marine Insurance Issues Workshop to insurers, brokers, maritime legal and surveyors who have an interest in some of the latest issues affecting the marine insurance industry. These issues cover Health and Safety at Work Act specific to marine, Institute Cargo clauses and issues with losses that may be caused by Inherent Vice. The Workshop will look at electronic documents used by shipping companies and an insight into a recent Salvage event in New Zealand. Something that we have not covered before is a detailed look at pleasure craft risk management.
This Marine Issues Workshop provides a unique opportunity for people involved in Marine insurance to get together in an education forum with some social networking.
