Life Members
Process and Criteria
IBANZ Honorary Life Membership Award is the highest accolade bestowed by the organisation to recognise individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to both IBANZ and the wider insurance industry.
Presented annually at the IBANZ Annual General Meeting, Honorary Life Membership celebrates those whose leadership, dedication, and influence has shaped the insurance industry over many years.
Nominees are assessed on a broad range of criteria from leadership and volunteering through to mentorship and enduing legacy.
Generally, a maximum number of three Honorary Life Membership Awards can be awarded in any given year, however, there is not an obligation to award one. This preserves the genuine nature of the award and high criteria and caliber of award winners.
Honorary Life Members will receive accolade in IBANZ newsletter, website, an interview in the CoverNote magazine, and receive a framed certificate. Honorary Life Members will also be invited to be a guest speaker at either an IBANZ webinar or in person event to highlight their career journey within the insurance industry.
