IBANZ Advocacy

IBANZ is the voice of fire and general insurance brokers in New Zealand.

Being the single voice representing the interests of our members is a key focus for us. We work with Government Ministers, their Ministries and Departments, as well as regulators and other stakeholders to promote the interests of our members and their clients.

To ensure we are supporting and representing our membership, we regularly seek input from the IBANZ Board and the IBANZ Regulatory Affairs Working Group.

Together, we have created the IBANZ Advocacy Briefing Paper.

The Advocacy Briefing Paper outlines the key issues facing our profession and the practical solutions we believe can help improve insurance accessibility, strengthen resilience to natural hazards and maintain access to quality insurance advice.

The IBANZ Advocacy Briefing Paper will serve as a foundation for IBANZ's advocacy efforts and help ensure the interests of brokers and their clients remain front of mind for decision-makers.
