Insurance claims require planning. They simply don’t get resolved by taking unplanned steps. There needs to be a detailed thought process and a subsequent claim plan. The claim plan needs to be specific to the claim and flexible to meet the changing dynamics of the claim, it also needs to provide opportunities for settlement at key points during the claim.

Join Andrew Brooke, Executive General Adjuster at McLarens to discuss how to develop a claim plan, identify critical path items and risks to the claim including risks to quantum, scoping, and policy coverage. Andrew will work through a case study involving damage to an industrial workshop building clad with an asbestos based product, from damage identification, consultant briefing and engagement, repair specification preparation, policy response considerations, costing and settlement.
